Sewing Revolution Quilt

The project started as a 4 block Christmas Wallhanging, but Marg chose fresh colours and 9 blocks and made it into a quilt. It was very much a learning quilt and it looks great. Instead of buttons in the centre of the blocks, Marg has used suffolk puffs which finishes them off nicely.

Create A Tilt Cushions

Naomi and Marg made these gorgeous cushions using the Create a Tilt ruler.
The ruler makes the task easy and it's quite an enjoyable block to make.
Simply repeating the block, or alternating the angle would make an eyecatching quilt.

We will be making a quilt (pictured in Machine Embroidery magazine vol 18/1 page 41) using the same ruler but a different technique on Wednesday August 24

Sewing Revolution Projects

Marg made the aqua cover and Linda made the spotty version. This was the first project we did using the Sewing Revolution tools and rulers. All the covers turned out beautifully and different. It's not easy to see in the photo, but there are fancy stitches fanning out from the embroideries.
