Lutterloh Pants

Spent Monday with Sonja from Lutterloh Patterns and drafted a collared shirt and a pair of trousers. Had a great day and learned heaps. Met some lovely ladies too.
I have even been able to sew up a pair of pants and wear them out last night.

Lutterloh Patterns
The original pattern for drafting

Pants ready to go. I decided to shorten the waist as I prefer pants to sit below my belly button. This made them a bit too loose so I added a granny style elastic to the back as I was in a hurry to wear them out. I made them from a stretch woven cotton in my stash and they are so comfortable. I also moved the zipper to the side.

Wow. I love the way this lady thinks...

Oversized buttonholes using your 1-step buttonhole.
 What a great idea.

I love skirts and this book is delightful. I found it in the Beaudesert library
and have had it out more than once.
I actually haven't had the chance to make anything yet, but I really enjoy reading it
and looking at the pictures. I have drafted a pattern - for one day.

Reserve it for yourself
